Premier League: Pochettino won't accept penalty squabbles

Chelsea's worst moments 'so bad'

City close gap on Arsenal

Mauricio Pochettino admitted troubled Chelsea's worst moments this season have been so bad after the Blues slumped to a shock 4-0 defeat at Manchester City on Thursday.

The west Londoners have lost six of their last eight Premier League games and have conceded 21 goals in the process.

Pochettino said: "The worst moments, I think, were the first half against Manchester City and the first half against Arsenal. We were so bad."

Chelsea are now 10th in the table, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Manchester City closed the gap on Arsenal at the top of the table to one point with a 4-0 win over Brighton.

Phil Foden scored twice for City, with Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez also on target.

Arsenal can restore their four-point lead when they host Newcastle on Saturday.
